ABOUT US

Fitness Trails markets 'Back to Basics' outdoor fitness equipment and fitness trails.

We are represented in Australia, the United Kingdom, Japan, Fiji, New Zealand and the USA.

Director of Fitness Trails is Australian physical educator, Neil Gray with 40 years experience working in schools, fitness centres, universities and most recently at the Australian Institute of Sport.

Neil Gray, has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the sports & fitness industry  For a full bio on Neil, please click here.

Thousands of active people use Fitness Trails outdoor exercise systems to reach their fitness goals.

Established in the mid 1980's in association with Parcourse USA, Fitness Trails has created a network of more than 600 fitness trails and fitness clusters - the EXERSITE- around Australia and internationally.

Australia's leading exercise physiologists designed the self-guided walking or jogging fitness trails to create the EXERSITE, the outdoor fitness centre that is safe, durable, low cost, gets results and is fun to use.

The EXERSITE and Fitness Trails are endorsed by peak health and fitness organisations around the world and are found in parks and recreation areas, schools, tertiary institutions, resorts, housing and business developments, golf courses, hospitals and defence installations: in fact anywhere where people want to work out.

The outdoor exercise equipment is manufactured using environmentally friendly, recycled plastic (timber is an option in Australia.)

Using recycled plastic offers a great option for the community for whole-of-life product cost savings as well as helping the environment.

One standard recycled plastic Exersite saves 25 cubic metres of landfill.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND COUNCILS

We provide local government and municipal organisations with an attractive and useful community amenity designed to encourage people of all ages to improve their aerobic fitness, strength and flexibility.

The Exersite is especially suited to park environments where a range of exercise stations are grouped in close proximity.

PRIMARY/ELEMENTARY/GRADE AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS AND TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS

We create fitness spaces for schools that encourage young people from primary/elementary/grade school and above to exercise safety, in a physical education or sport lessons or by themselves during breaks.

The Junior school Exersite for young children can play an important role in encouraging them in an innovative teaching environment to become fitter and healthier.

In an age when children are spending more and more time sitting down, a selection of stations where children need to use strength to climb, push and pull their own body weight is a useful adjunct to playground equipment.

SPORTING ORGANISATIONS

We work with sporting organisations to install a variety of fitness stations like the Exersite, in their training area, which can contribute to the over-all fitness training objectives of the sport and provide a welcome break from other fitness routines.

CORPORATE FITNESS

Evidence now confirms the benefits of having a healthy workplace. An environment where people are encouraged and supported to adopt healthy habits including physical activity is a plus for the staff and the company. We work with companies to install the self-guided Exersite the outdoor mini gym- where staff can work out effectively, safely and have fun.

LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS AND DEVELOPERS

One of the essential 'benefits' a developer can provide the community with is access to a safe, attractive and useful fitness amenity- a program that will cater for all ages and levels of fitness. Our fitness trails systems will help developers meet this objective.

You are invited to discover the Fitness Trails program by browsing this site and contacting us for more information.
