SPECIFICATIONS

Handsome, durable, maintenance free, the Fitness Trails equipment has been manufactured by professionals to withstand the elements, heavy use and vandalism.

Each Fitness Trails system is built of environmentally friendly recycled plastic, or in Australia, premium hardwood.

All systems have vandal resistant polycarbonate signs, rust resistant hardware (galvanised steel or stainless steel) and importantly are practically maintenance free.

External Hardware

It is hot dipped galvanised steel tube (may be powder coated) or stainless steel.

Fastenings

There are no nails, screws or surface penetrations on benches in the timber systems or in the recycled plastic systems.

Signage

All signs are made of virtually indestructible poly-carbonate with reverse silk-screen printed graphics using epoxy bond ink to ensure a long life.

RECYCLED PLASTIC

All Fitness Trails systems are manufactured using recycled industrial and post consumer waste plastic.

The plastic is processed and the productís appearance is good and has internal integrity.

There are no known pollution or health problems associated with the use of recycled plastic.

The recycled plastic systems will not crack or check, splinter, rot and they are impervious to insects.

They are colour fast and do not need painting.

Spray paint and markers may be removed by using appropriate cleaners.

The life expectancy under normal use is in excess of 30 years.

The Fitness Trails recycled plastic systems are affordable, offering a competitive advantage, durable and and are environmentally sound.

TIMBER

An option in Australia, sought by many organisations is to have the equipment manufactured from premium hardwood, such as Ironbark of similar.

All wood is completely finished on four sides; edges are beveled and finished with a waterproof poly-coat for appearance and safety.

Within 2 to 3 years the timber weathers and blends naturally into the landscape.

Premium Australian hardwoods are used extensively for outdoor community furniture and fixtures because of its structural and aesthetic properties.

All timber used is harvested from sustainable sources.
