In early 2019 LCC was looking at replacing an existing outdoor gym in an extremely high footfall area of one of our many green spaces, The equipment we had installed 8 years prior was dynamic equipment that had over time become worn out and un-serviceable.

Although the equipment was well used feedback from members of the community was that if the gear were to be replaced that pull up bars, dips bars etc would be preferable over replacing the existing gear with like for like. Our parks team were most impressed with fitness trails equipment due to the simple, safe and durable design that functionally catered for more people than our previous install.

As a council we are looking for equipment that will stand the test of time, Fitness Trails® have a track record to prove their equipment is second to none in that area. Other then a tidy up of the area, this kit has been maintenance free.
